Zwentendorf an der Donau is a market municipality of some 3,800 inhabitants in the district of Tulln, Lower Austria.

Since June 2009, Zwentendorf has been operating a photovoltaic power plant of a total of 1,000 solar panels. In the same year, the street leading to the plant’s premises was named “Sonnenweg”. Up to this date, you could only reach the plant by following detailed directions without any street names or heading for the site’s coordinates.
